The Amigos Board of Directors / La Mesa Directiva de Amigos

Patricia Cortez, Board President. Patricia is a Eugene social worker and immigrant rights activist. She has long been associated with Amigos and is the founder and coordinator of Amigos' youth group Juventud FACETA.

Ken Neubeck. Board Vice President. Ken is a Professor Emeritus of Sociology, retired from the University of Connecticut. His interests include implementing international human rights in the United States.

Lynn Stephen, Lynn is Distinguished Professor of Arts and Sciences in the University of Oregon Department of Anthropology. She has done extensive work in Latin America on women and human rights issues.

Alison Cerezo. Alison is completing a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Oregon. She has been a past volunteer with Amigos and has been an activist on multicultural issues.

Guadalupe Quinn. Guadalupe is the Lane County Regional Coordinator of CAUSA, a statewide immigrant rights coalition. She has been an active participant in human rights causes for many years.

Michelle Platt. Michelle is a student at the University of Oregon Law School. Her interests include human rights and immigration law.

The following Amigos board members are part of our youth group, Juventud FACETA: Eliana Horna, Reina Vasquez, Elizabeth Sampedro, and Rigoberto Granados.
