A Juventud FACETA member is a key speaker at Springfield's third annual commemoration of the life of Latino leader Cesar Chavez, April 12, 2005, at Springfield's City Hall.

Juventud FACETA collaborates with PCUN, Rural Organizing Project, Oregon Action, and CAUSA in the opening ceremony and march from Salem, "Walk for Truth, Justice, and Community," to support worker and immigrant rights, June 12, 2005.

Juventud FACETA represents Positive Youth Development-Oregon at the National Youth Summit, July 28-30, 2005, in Washington, D.C.

Members of Juventud FACETA participate in the 2nd Annual Immigrants and Refugee Rights Training Institute, September 30-October 2, 2005, in Oakland, California.

Juventud FACETA creates a Day of the Dead altar at Maude Kerns Art Center, which is on display October 21-November 11, 2005. It is dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Stan which hit the east-central coast of Mexico in early October.

Juventud FACETA participates in a community-wide Immigration Town Meeting, giving testimonies on the need for passage of the DREAM Act and comprehensive immigration reform. November 16, 2005, at the Cesar Chavez Elementary School.
